July 1, 2015

François Lamontagne is now the holder of a research Chair created through a partnership between the Foundations of the Université de Sherbrooke, the CHU de Sherbrooke, the Centre de Recherche du CHUS and the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Sherbrooke.

The objective of the Chair is to improve acute care by:

  • Promoting the integration of research into the routine care, mainly in the care of the critically ill, and the development of an inter-professional collaborative culture;
  • Ensuring the use of best practices by disseminating convincing and conclusive data related to hospital based care;
  • Training a highly skilled succession in clinical research focused on the patient;
