Krista Wollny
I have a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Calgary's Department of Community Health Sciences. I am a PICU Registered Nurse and have worked at both Alberta Children's Hospital & SickKids. My research is focused on adverse events (unplanned extubations) in pediatric critical care. I have also led research on clinician-scientist training programs & nursing education. In my spare time, you can find me in the mountains with my partner and our Bernese Mountain Dog, Alfie.

In my own words
CCCTG is an extremely welcoming and supportive community of inspiring researchers. Having joined as a PhD student (during COVID-19), I quickly found meaningful mentorship, connections & collaborations that have been invaluable for my career growth.
