Ellen McDonald
Ellen is working as the National Platform Research Coordinator for the CCCTG. Ellen graduated form Mohawk College School of Nursing in 1985. She has worked as a critical care nurse, at the bedside in the Middle East and Canada. Ellen has worked for 12 years as a critical care transport nurse for a land based program and as an international air medical transport nurse for 5 years. For the past 25 years, Ellen has enjoyed working as a Critical Care Research Coordinator for McMaster University, based at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton and Hamilton Health Sciences in Hamilton, Ontario.
As a Research Coordinator, Ellen’s work involved academic research around risk factors for critical illness and prevention of complications associated with ICU admissions. Ellen has a special interest in Research Coordinator Activities and the factors that Motivate research coordinators in Critical Care.
