Maureen Meade

Dr. Maureen Meade is one of two principal investigators of the OSCILLATE Trial. As a critical care consultant in the multidisciplinary intensive care units at Hamilton Health Sciences Dr. Meade also has the role of Research Director, Critical Care HHS. She is a Professor of Medicine and Clinical Epidemiology & Biostatistics at McMaster University, where she teaches in the Health Research Methodology Program, cochairs the CLARITY research Group, and cochairs the international McMaster University Evidence-Based Clinical Practice Workshop.

Dr. Meade is a seasoned principal investigator on randomized clinical trials in mechanical ventilation. Recognized twice for her mentorship of junior investigators by the Canadian Institutes for Health Research, Dr. Meade has also received generous career support and research funding from the Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR).
