Kendiss Olafson

Dr. Kendiss Olafson is an Assistant Professor at the University of Manitoba. She currently chairs quality improvement for the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. In addition to work in quality improvement, Kendiss's research interests include epidemiology, healthcare delivery, health disparities and long-term outcomes of critical illness. Current research is focused on mental health outcomes following critical illness. She recently completed a pilot study looking at the feasibility of ICU diaries in the ICU which was published in Critical Care Medicine in 2018.
