Frederick D'Aragon
Dr D'Aragon is working as a career scientist at the Unviersity of Sherbrooke, anesthesiologist-intensivist and organ donation physician support at the CHUS. Dr D’Aragon obtained his medical degree from the Université de Sherbrooke in 2007 and completed a postgraduate training in Anesthesiology (Université Sherbrooke, 2012), Critical Care Medicine (McMaster University, 2014) and he's member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeon of Canada. In 2015, he was awarded the Deltweiler Award from the Royal College to complete a fellowship in organ donation and procurement from the University of Barcelona, Spain.
On a research perspective, Dr D’Aragon completed a two years fellowship in clinical research under the supervision of Dr. Maureen Meade. He completed a master's degree in Health Research Methodology at McMaster University and the clinical investigator program at The Royal College. The primary focus of his thesis was the foundation work of a National Research Program in critical pre-donor care. Dr D'Aragon is working as a career scientist at the University of Sherbrooke, anesthesiologist-intensivist and organ donation physician support at the CHUS. His projects have studied different aspects of organ donor care in the ICU.
