Become a Member

We aim to co-operatively help develop protocols that benefit from the diverse expertise and constructive advice of the CCCTG membership. In so doing, we aim to merge scientific rigour with clinical relevance, within the constraints of feasibility and available resources.

Who Can Become a Member?

The CCCTG is an open membership group that collectively promotes and assists in the implementation of investigator-initiated, patient-focused, multicentre research. Membership is open to all healthcare professionals, researchers, families and patients (as well as trainees who care for both critically ill adults and children) with an interest in Critical Care research who are based in Canada. Those from outside of Canada (including other research networks) are welcome to participate in individual meetings as a guest with prior agreement from the CCCTG Executive.

Please note: Each new membership is reviewed to ensure it meets the CCCTG membership criteria (see "Who Can Become a Member?" above). If you are unsure if you fit the membership criteria, or unsure which category applies to you, please email Brenda Lucas, Executive Director, prior to paying membership dues.

If you hold a current membership in the CCCTG or CCCTBG, you will receive a system-generated reminder when your membership is due for renewal. 

If your membership has lapsed but you have held membership in the CCCTG or CCCTBG within the past three years, your member credentials are still in our system. Before you pay member dues below, please ensure you've logged into the website. You can use the 'Forgot Password' option to set or reset your password if needed.
