Pan-Canadian Core Consent Project

The Canadian Critical Care Trials Group, with CIHR’s Ethics Office, is creating a simplified template for informed consent form for participants who are requested to take part in clinical research. The goal of the template is to make it easier for participants to understand informed consent forms, and to harmonize ethics review of clinical studies.

We are seeking researchers, patients, caregivers, and administrators with knowledge of informed consent forms to provide input on our draft template.
