Message sent by Dr. Paul Hebert, Chair, CCCTG
Dear colleagues,
As many of you may know, Jacques will not be coming to the Spring meeting of the CCCTG. He is rather disappointed that he cannot be with us. However, he has a very good reason to be absent.
Please join me in congratulating one of our own in winning the prestigious Alan Ross Award for a life time of work in promoting excellence in Pediatric research, education, healthcare and advocacy. It is the most important honour offered by the Canadian Pediatric Society.
For the CCCTG, he was a founding member, a mentor to many, very generous with his time and energy. He has been and continues to be instrumental in promoting pediatric critical care research, both within the CCCTG and in many other spheres.
Jacques has done that and much more. I count myself amongst the many individuals who benefited from Jacques generous spirit.
From your friends and colleagues at the CCCTG, Jacques
A well deserved congratulations.
We look forward to many more years of rich interchanges, mentorship and collaboration.
Warmest personal regards
Paul Hebert MD FRCPC MHSc
Chair, CCCTG
(and lifelong friend)
