Who can become a member?
The CCCTG is an open membership group that collectively promotes and assists in the implementation of investigator-initiated, patient-focused, multicentre research. Membership is open to all healthcare professionals, researchers, families and patients (as well as trainees who care for both critically ill adults and children) with an interest in Critical Care research who are based in Canada. Those from outside of Canada (including other research networks) are welcome to participate in individual meetings as a guest with prior agreement from the CCCTG Executive.
Membership types:
- CCCTG Member/Physician - Membership for Physicians wanting to join the CCCTG only. The CCCTG Membership includes registration costs to the three yearly (Winter, Spring and Fall) CCCTG Scientific Meetings and provides access to the intranet, including the Core Document Centre, exception of the CCCTBG-restricted section of the intranet.
- CCCTBG Member/Physician - Membership for Physicians wanting to join the CCCTBG only. The CCCTBG Membership includes registration costs to the two yearly (Winter and Spring) CCCTBG Scientific Meetings and provides access to the intranet, including the Core Document Centre, as well as the CCCTBG-restricted section of the intranet.
- CCCTG & CCCTBG Dual Member/Physician - Membership for Physicians wanting to join the CCCTG and the CCCTBG.The Dual CCCTG/CCCTBG Membership includes registration costs to all the Scientific Meetings: the three yearly CCCTG AND the two yearly CCCTBG Scientific Meetings. It also provides access to the intranet, including the Core Document Centre, as well as the CCCTBG Restricted Section of the intranet.
- CCCTG & CCCTBG Dual Member/PHD/ICU Trainee - Membership for researchers with academic appointment (PhD, non-Physician) and ICU trainees/fellows. This membership provides automatic Dual CCCTG/CCCTBG Membership and includes registration costs to all the Scientific Meetings: the three yearly CCCTG AND the two yearly CCCTBG Scientific Meetings. It also provides access to the intranet, including the Core Document Centre, as well as the CCCTBG Restricted Section of the intranet.
- CCCTG & CCCTBG Dual Member/RC/HP/Graduate Student - Membership for research coordinators, health professionals and graduate students (Master, Doctoral and Postdoctoral level). These membership types provide automatic Dual CCCTG/CCCTBG Membership and include registration costs to all the Scientific Meetings: the three yearly CCCTG AND the two yearly CCCTBG Scientific Meetings. Membership also provides access to the intranet, including the Core Document Centre, as well as the CCCTBG Restricted Section of the intranet.
- CCIRNet - Membership for Physicians, Health Professionals and Research Coordinators from Community Hospitals wanting to join CCIRNet. The CCIRNet Membership provides provides access to the intranet, including the CCIRNet-restricted section of the intranet. To attend CCCTG/CCCTBG meetings you must be a CCCTG/CCCTBG active member.
